Once again, the British interior design blog Deardesigner unveils a project that will amaze everyone! An industrial kitchen with fantastic ideas that can be easily used in your personal outline. A good combination between light, kitchen accessories, looks and usability! Find the images bellow, and take some time to have a look at every corner and detail for the best perception.
This bespoke, open-plan kitchen was designed by Mark Taylor Design for a Surrey based family. The clients had lately acquired their four-bedroom, modern separate home but decided to re-design the kitchen to readjust their demands.
The clients wanted to create a place for all of the group to use as the main living area – including a kitchen decoration with a large island for cooking, chatting and eating, and a TV/lounge area that initiates out onto the garden.
Copper has been the metal of choice for a long time now but this is the first shaped kitchen island, the angled base is quite inspired. Not only is it more interesting than the basic island shape, but it provides more room for knees and feet and gives a wonderful vintage industrial style. Besides what´s your impression of these lighting ideas?
The metal bar stools and factory pendant lights are also bang-on-trend. They provide contrast to the luxurious marble finish on the worktops and enforce the perception that this is a room for the entire family.
And finally, the devil really is in the details. The oak plinths with concealed lighting, the dovetailed drawers and the cutlery and utensil dividers are all luxuries that will give pleasure for years to come. What´s your impression of this kitchen guide?
