We know we’re not supposed to be a time capsule, but we can’t help flying back in time with mid-century design houses and their stunning vintage decor. Once again, we invite you to travel with us, this time into an untouched 1950s house that contains a soft, feminine pink kitchen.

In a quite strange and unexpected discovery, furniture designer and creator Nathan Chandler found and bought a home that had remained sealed since 1956, keeping its mid-century American interior perfectly intact.

We fell in love with the retro design of the kitchen, which obviously has a special detail: pink, pink, pink everywhere. (Inspired by the favorite color of First Lady Mamie Eisenhower, pink was an exceptionally popular color for kitchens and bathrooms in the 1950s)!
